Das interdisziplinäre poonamdesigners Studio startet eine Eventplattform für Kreative:
CreativeDays Stuttgart – Design.Arts.Architecture.
mit zwei Events am 15.7. und 19.7.2016, jeweils 19:00 – 22:00 Uhr.

Die Nähe zum Indian Summer und Indischem Filmfestival bildet die Brücke zu dieser Plattform.

The interdisciplinary poonamdesigners Studio launches an event platform for creatives:
CreativeDays Stuttgart – Design.Arts.Architecture
with two events at July, 15th and July 19th 2016.

The proximity to the Indian Summer and Indian Film Festival is the bridge to the platform.

»The Art of Indian Film«, Indian Cinema Posters, Yesterday and Today
The Art of Indian Film wird die künstlerische Entwicklung von indischen Filmpostern zeigen.
Zur Vernissage werden Festivalleiter Oliver Mahn vom Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg e.V. und die indischstämmige Designerin Poonam Choudhry erwartet. Mit ihnen wird der Journalist Thomas Geuder einen Talk wagen, ein Gespräch über die Bedeutung des indischen Films für die Gesellschaft und Botschaften der Filme, gestern und heute.

»The Art of Indian Film«, Indian Cinema Posters, Yesterday and Today
The Art of Indian Film Exhibition will portray the artistic development of Indian cinematic posters. With expressive art and a discussion at the opening on prevalent topics such as the significance of film for the Indian community and the political development of film over the years, journalist Thomas Geuder will chat to head of the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart, Oliver Mahn, and Indian-born designer Poonam Choudhry. The exhibition, held between 16 July and 6 August 2016, promises to be a highly colourful event.

Die Ausstellung wird von Poonam Choudhry kuratiert, von Thomas Geuder co-kuratiert. Im Anschluss laden kulinarische Köstlichkeiten aus Indien und indische Musik zum lockereren Get-Together.

The exhibition is curated by Poonam Choudhry and co-curated by Thomas Geuder. A get-together and opportunity for further talks and networking will round off the evening.

Systems Thinking

The International Seminar Week 2016 has put its emphasis on the topic of Systems Thinking. It is no longer enough to simply examine and act upon each part of a system in isolation. It is necessary to examine how the part interacts with each other; and work on the system as a whole. Systems Thinking looks at relationships, connectedness, process, the patterns of a system, the whole, and context. Thanks to our renowned international teaching staff we were able to offer a wide variety of systems design approaches in this year’s lectures and workshops.

The ISW 2016 took place Monday, 18 through Friday, 22 April.
